Rationale:

Many of these lessons were created with the intention of creating more layered lessons, capable of meeting numerous standards and fulfilling literacy initiatives. I really enjoyed teaching these lessons. They were a lot of planning on the front end but they made for really engaging conversation and the students really seemed to grasp on to these concepts well even if they felt odd for a dance class (my students words not mine) . We took a deep dive into movement generation in each of these lessons and focused on finding our artistic voices. I hope to hold lessons this layered as target lesson for each unit in the future.
