Rationale:

Documentation of my participation in Professional Development provides tangible evidence of growth, learning, and commitment to my own continued learning. This record allowed me to track my own involvement and progress, reflect on my engagement, and identify areas for further growth. Additionally, this documentation shows my dedication to my own physical practice. My hope for next year is that PD can be more content specific, as this would enhance my credibility, effectiveness, and career advancement opportunities. I feel grateful to work in a district that supports a culture of learning, accountability, and excellence and openly accepts feedback regarding the effectiveness of our PD. It feels as though they genuinely care that we are engaged and excited about our own learning opportunities and what we can impart with our students born out of that enthusiasm and motivation.
