Rationale:Â
I worked thoroughly this semester to create assessments that would set a certain level of expectation of my students and introduced a variety of assessment formats that were not present during first semester. The feedback I received from my students is that they appreciated that the course work felt like learning and not just choreography. I could tell how meaningful learning the deeper context of dance is to them and although assessments challenge us a bit to rise to the occasion, each variety gave me more information on what my student responded well to and what we will maybe forgo the next go around.
